  • 9. yvanna  |  April 21st, 2008 at 7:19 pm

jacy? what tool did you use to put the image behind the border? thank you! btw. i like ur work! kudus for you! (:

  • 10. simplyjacy  |  April 23rd, 2008 at 4:45 am

the software that i use to make the theme which you can also use to put your picture behind the frame is Photoshop CS3. there are other image-editing software that you can use too. Gimp is a free one which functions similarly to Photoshop.

regarding installing the multiplytweaks.com banner, simply copy the code. And paste the code on your welcome box just like how you write a text in it.

if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to leave them. i may be on a vacation but i’ll try to answer them as soon as i can.

  • 12. jennifer  |  May 21st, 2008 at 11:57 pm

hi, the theme isn’t working onmy multiply anymore. it’s saying that the css “expression” is not allowed. did you do something like copyrighted it? (dumb question huh)
anyways..i really really liked the scribbles. so if you can get it back to work for multiply again, that would be superr-fanta-bulous! please please.. you’re an amazing artist! im a fan!

  • 13. Heids  |  May 24th, 2008 at 6:49 am

  • 16. aska  |  June 4th, 2008 at 10:54 am

why is that multiply doesn’t accept the codes?? it said Enter Custom CSS here: Note: you do not need to enter tags in this tool.
The CSS ‘expression’ property is not allowed

  • 17. aska  |  June 4th, 2008 at 11:02 am

    ayaw pu talaga.. :( huhuhu

  • 18. simplyjacy  |  June 5th, 2008 at 10:06 am

hello everyone! sorry for the delay of my reply. i have been on a two month vacation which was awesome. i realized that while i was gone there are updates made by multiply that made the use of this CSS impossible. i apologize for that. i am working on fixing it now so you guys can use them.

i will be leaving a comment here as long as it’s ready for you to use. thanks for your support!

  • 19. simplyjacy  |  June 5th, 2008 at 6:42 pm

The CSS of this theme has already been updated and tested. if you continue to experience problem installing this, just leave us a comment.

    Enjoy!

  • 22. joyce  |  June 18th, 2008 at 6:23 am

Hi jacy! well, I’m using your theme right now. The “my scribbles” one… I did exactly what you’ve instructed but the size on the banner really is not right. I keep on adjusting it to 770px x 423px (just like in the code) but it keeps on going back to 630×400 something… it keeps on repeating itself that is why I adjusted it to the center to make it at least look better.. I wanted it to be just the same thing as it is in your sample. please help me with this. thanks!^_^

  • 23. joyce  |  June 18th, 2008 at 6:29 am

and… oh… I can’t see what I have typed on the title area of my site… what part of the code can i edit it for it to be seen again.. thanks thanks! ;)

  • 24. simplyjacy  |  June 18th, 2008 at 3:19 pm

hello Joyce! can you give me a link to your site? the usual reason why the dimension is different is because your image dimension is not the same. it would be nice if i can see your site so i can make sure what the problem is.

to be able to see the title area, try going to Customize my Page and click on Edit Title. If you want it to be seen, check on the code that says, h1#page_owner_title look for the part that says visibility: hidden and change it to visible.

  • 25. Joyce  |  June 22nd, 2008 at 11:48 pm

    ok… thanks!
well, here’s my link… simplejoyce.multiply.com the banner is too big… can you give me the exact dimensions? i’m trying to save it using the 770×423 dimension both in multiply and in photobucket but it always readjusts to whatever dimension… hehe!

    thanks again!

  • 26. Nita  |  July 2nd, 2008 at 9:31 am

hi jacy, like the others, i like this theme too. one thing however, i want to make the text to be online with the margin. maybe you can view my site. thanks alot . p.s. wonder where you get all the ideas…awesome…

  • 27. Nita  |  July 2nd, 2008 at 11:29 am

hi jacy, its me again. i could not insert my pic. frankly i don’t know how to use photoshop. could you help me? thanks a million for your help.

  • 28. simplyjacy  |  July 8th, 2008 at 7:12 pm

    hello Joyce!

the problem i noticed is that the banner is still not the same dimension as the others. keep the dimension of the banner image and make sure you copy the high-resolution or the 100% resolution of the image. if you have it in multiply, you have to click on Zoom In to get the full-resolution.

if you want, send me a link to your image that you want to be on the banner so i can put it up for you. and i’ll just give you the URL

  • 29. simplyjacy  |  July 8th, 2008 at 7:13 pm

    Nita,

i would love to help you. but i need the link to your site so i know how to fix things.

regarding the banner, send me a link to the image you want to be in there so i can work on the banner for you.

  • 30. nette  |  July 18th, 2008 at 4:13 am

why did my banner appear like a patch of four? Please check out my site and see. Hope you can help me. I love the theme.

  • 31. nette  |  July 18th, 2008 at 4:29 am

Hi! I already fixed it. I just read your replies to queries posted earlier. I zoomed in on the image and copied the new url. :) I enjoy inserting my pic in the banner. I love Photoshop kasi so I didn’t have any problem with it. Thanks for sharing your gift of creativity. You might want to feature a Vespa in your next design. =)

I also placed the website’s ad in my site. Hope you could visit http://nettenijoey.multiply.com

    Thanks again. =)

    hello nette!

i visited your site and you look really beautiful. i love the image you place on your header. thank you for putting a link to our site. we have a lot of themes needed to be posted but we were just not able to keep up with it yet. we will eventually have Vespa by then.

    p.s.
    you’re smart!

  • 34. simplyjacy  |  July 21st, 2008 at 3:23 pm

  • 35. iane  |  July 24th, 2008 at 9:41 am

its my first to do such thing, how am i going to customize this layout..help me pls…i’ve already put my pic but i dont know how to upload it..

  • 36. simplyjacy  |  July 24th, 2008 at 7:18 pm

upload the banner with your pic on it on any photo-hosting website like photobucket. then get the URL code.

paste the code on the part of the CSS that says “!!!!!PASTE BANNER IMAGE HERE!!!”.

once you have that, copy the entire CSS. Customize it by click on Customize My Site on your Home page and then click on Custom CSS on the yellow tab that will appear on top of it. Paste your CSS and click on Save.

  • 37. aNgeL  |  July 25th, 2008 at 2:58 am

    Melapnt,
you can use this theme but you have to customize it to have your own picture in it.

  • 41. dada  |  August 6th, 2008 at 1:52 am

im soo inlove with the theme jacy! but kindly check my site because there’s this overlapping this at the right..what can i do about it? sweet thanks!

  • 42. dada  |  August 6th, 2008 at 2:00 am

by the way, can i change “my scribbles” with my own title? hihi how do i do it?if its ok with you.. but i’ll be keeping the credits for you.. :)

  • 43. simplyjacy  |  August 6th, 2008 at 1:22 pm

    hello dada!
i’m glad you liked it. the reason why the header looks wider than the rest of the body is because your header is in fact wider. make sure you keep the same dimension of the banner image. the width is very important as you might have noticed by now. on this theme it is 770px. so to correct it, you have to do the banner image again.

and as for changing “my scribbles”, you have my permission to do it. you might want to try the clone tool on photoshop to get rid of it. and once you have it gone, add your text.

  • 44. dada  |  August 6th, 2008 at 9:17 pm

thank you so much jacy! you really have awesome themes..consider yourself proud.. hihi im now a fan! thanks again!

  • 56. shai  |  December 17th, 2008 at 2:54 am

hi, i really love to use your layout. I was able to customize my photo already, uploaded it to multiply and followed all directions you gave. But when I preview my website, the banner comes like tiles. I don’t know what i did wrong, hope you could help me.

  • 57. shai  |  December 17th, 2008 at 4:06 am

hi pls disregard my previous message. I got it right already. It so happened that I was copying the URL of the image from my media locker. I created a new album for the image and copied the URL from there and it already worked! hehehe… tricky… but I love the new layout of my site now. the theme is just right for it. thank you so much for sharing this.

now if it’s not too much to ask, is it possible to remove the border line at the left side? Or is there a way to bring the text to front so that the borderline won’t hover over them? if possible lang naman. hehehe

  • 58. shai  |  December 17th, 2008 at 4:58 am

hello again. i was able to change the background to white. hope it’s ok with you..
